We quit making most of our meals from boxes & eating fast-food a couple of years ago when my husband had some cardiac issues. Now I try to teach people not to wait for that major wake-up call like we did... sounds like you & your wife are great examples for your children!

Re: My Cooking got Better When I Lost Weight

Awesome Matt! I have a friend who's idea of getting his veggies was adding garlic powder to his meat, hilarious. Planning as you mentioned is key. There's no reason why a parent, single or married can't prepare homemade meals most days of the week, just takes a little...planning. It saves money and as you've discovered is better for you.

Re: My Cooking got Better When I Lost Weight

Planning seems the be the #1 Key; we as a family are going on the juice diet next week for the cleansing of our bodies!! Almost all the people that I talk to in my business that are struggling with weight problems neglect having consistent eating patterns, especially missing breakfast. We also find that nutritious meal replacement shakes are a great help to them.

Re: 5 Reasons Eating Breakfast will Help You Lose Weight

We make ourt own shakes in the morning wth strawberries, blue berries, banana; I am going to add that peanut butter in there; that sounds good to me!
